Master’s Program
The Sustainable Production and Animal Health Graduate Program (Programa de Pós-Graduação em Produção Sustentável e Saúde Animal – PPS) intends to promote active exploration, personal involvement, curiosity, and the use of the senses and intellectual application in the formulation of questions/search for innovative answers that may help raise the standard of productivity and quality of the diverse range of products that comprise the agribusiness production chain in Brazil, associated with human and animal quality of life. The Program has received score 3 in the evaluation of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior – CAPES). Through critical thinking, the graduates of the program are able to participate in, develop and evaluate activities related to research, teaching, academic outreach and management according to a multidisciplinary perspective on integrated management, prevention, control and disease characterization, whilst acting in health protection, and animal as well as environmental biosafety.
