Geography Graduate Program

Recognized by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior – CAPES) in 1997, the Geography Graduate Program (Programa de Pós-Graduação em Geografia – PGE) supplies the demand for qualified professionals in Geographical Sciences and related areas to participate in academic education, academic outreach and research concerning the analysis of space production, territorial dynamics and environmental analysis. The Program has received score 5 in CAPES evaluation and holds as one of its aims the training of professionals to act in teaching and research fields in public and private agencies.
