Biological Science Graduate Program

The Biological Science Graduate Program (Programa de Pós-Graduação em Ciências Biológicas - PBC) offers courses in biochemistry, molecular biology, cellular biology and other advanced courses, with an interdisciplinary approach within the area of Biological Science. The main goal of the course is to qualify students to occupy teaching and/or research positions in the academy or other organizations. The students develop experimental research to write their thesis/dissertations and train their teaching skills at the graduation courses related to Biological Science, integrating undergraduate and graduate studies. PBC is considered an excellent graduate program (score 5) according to the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES).
