Professional Master’s Program
The Professional Master's Degree in National Network Mathematics - PROFMAT is a master's degree program in blended modality in the field of Mathematics with national reach. It is formed by a network of Higher Education Institutions, in the context of Open University of Brazil/Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES), and is coordinated by the Brazilian Mathematical Society (Sociedade Brasileira de Matemática - SBM), supported by the National Institute for Pure and Applied Mathematics (Instituto Nacional de Matemática Pura e Aplicada - IMPA).
PROFMAT aims to prioritize Math teachers working in Primary Education, specially in public schools, who seek to improve their professional education, emphasizing the in-depth domain of mathematical content relevant to the teaching profession.
