Professional Master's Degree in Inclusive Education

The Professional Master's Degree in Inclusive Education at National Level (Mestrado Profissonal em Educação Inclusiva – PROFEI) is a graduate program recognized by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES), and aims to offer continuing education for teachers using effective practice in the Public Basic Education Schools so that they can improve their repertoire of knowledge and expertise, being able to promote the development in educational contexts, ensuring an inclusive education, with the aim of contributing to enhancing education quality in the country.
PROFEI is a partially in-person course offered national and internationally, in the scope of the Open University of Brazil (Universidade Aberta do Brasil - UAB), and leads to the title of Master in Inclusive Education. The maximum duration of the Master’s Degree in Education is 24 months.
